Braised Pork in Brown Sauce

Primary Ingredients:

Streaky pork about 500 grams

Dark soy sauce

Sugar

Salt

Water

Optional ingredients: green shallots, dried hawthorn, brown sugar, cinnamon, anise, ginger, leek, quail eggs, etc.

Prepare the Ingredients:Cut the streaky pork into chunks or strips. Slice the green shallots, chop the ginger, and chop the leek. If using dried hawthorn, break it into pieces.

Marinate the Pork:Season the pork with salt, sugar, and dark soy sauce. Mix well to coat the pork evenly. Let it marinate for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator for better flavor absorption.
